Mercruiser came out with SB 2013 - 06 about the Bravo Impellers 862232A2 for the brass water pumps. GEN VII design. The jist is Impellers from date code from Feb 16. 2011 thru May 30, 2013 these impellers were manufacturer with a shorter tolerance causing possible priming issues and possible cooling issues. Look for a date code of May 31 and current 2013 when using this impeller. New impellers might have a green dot on them now. I would not use the impellers with date as mention from the SB. FYI. Heads up to help all out. I did my good boating deed for the day and saved some headaches from taking place.
