Image of the Week: Pontoon Wheelie
Something to look forward to at the Lake of the Ozarks Shootout this month, http://speedonthewater.com/in-the-ne...ontoon-wheelie.

I would hate to have to admit to my buddies that I got smoked by a toon......:party-smiley-004:

You simply can't win... It's either "I got beat by a pontoon boat" OR "I just beat a pontoon boat".:picard1:

I cannot tell a lie. Not only did I get passed by a Pontoon, but he roosted me as well.
A couple years back I was cruising on Smith Mountain Lake in SW Virginia, around 45-50 mph. My buddy Tim in his tri-toon with twin 2.5L ROS shot out of a cove from behind me and I didn't know he was there until he was passing me. Just to add insult, he pulled in front of me and "jetovated" the bow as he sped off at 70+ plus. :D A couple months later, I was in DC at a business meeting, and boating on SML came up. I had the whole story repeated to me from a spectator point of view, unbeknownst to the story teller that I was the one driving the go-fast in his story. :drink: |
I'll be more impressed with them running 100 + MPH at the Shootout the first time they do it with someone grilling a burger during the run. :bunnydance:
|
Hell he should put a set of wheelie bars on it with waterskies on them.
|
My friend that owns our dock has a tri-toon with twin merc 2.5 280 hp each yeah it`s not fun getting passed by one.

These comments are hilarious. You guys made my day. Thanks.

How do the hot dogs stay on the grill?
Are they racing toons on a regular course yet? I think that would be awesome to see about 20 of them out there going at it. |
