Guess during the week it slows down there. I've kept my boat at grove and thought south of there in the bay had a lot of traffic.

Not so sure where the comment "finally started with turbos" comes from.

The late Bob Nordskog raced them actively in the 70's and 80's, The late Tom Gentry set numerous World Offshore records with them over at least a 10 year span ("Gentry Turbo Eagle" hulls). Bobby Moore rigged a number of boats with Gentry power.... "How Sweet It is", etc and all of the major diesel powered hulls have been turbo charged since the 70's....?

Sure they have been around but people are starting to use them regularly and now you have factory Merc power with them. No longer in race boats but pleasure boats etc.

That Turbo install in the skater to me looks like "Just make it work"
