We are going down Thursday and have no idea right now where we are staying. We are considering staying at Conley and boating down Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Now your thinking jmoore, state dock would probably be your best bet so you don't have to drive at all.

Count me in! Went down for the first time 4 years ago after deciding the night before. Haven't missed it since and don't plan on missing it. We have a cabin at the State Dock. Bringing some first timers with us this year so they can see what all the hype is about.

Just got home from a 3 day weekend at the lake and other than a lot of rain it was great. We have good friends with a houseboat at State and have been doing this run for over 10 years. I would STRONGLY recommend you watch yourself when partying. They had the big raftup this weekend and they managed to fill the local jail.

For those of you staying at the lodges just be careful on the 4 mile ride back at the end of the day

I'm staying at the campground at state dock but they don't have any slips left for my boat. If anyone has room to tie up my little 22 footer I'd sure appreciate it!

Staying on the boat this year, was at raftup this weekend and dnr/water patrol was out HEAVY. I had no issues(not a boozer really) but it was my bro-in-law's bachelor party and needless to say I got looked at pretty hard when leaving the raftup around 730 with 4 other guys in a 27'r all sitting down, acting a little too "chill" haha
