Storing Gas Two Years

Did a search, but didn't find this addressed.

At this point, it doesn't look like I'll even de-winterize one of my boats this year. The gas was treated last year. It is a higher octane than my engines require, as that was the only way to buy alcohol-free gas. What are the good options for over a 100 gallons of treated year old gas, that needs to be stored for another year?

Pump it out and run it through your cars?

I agree..pull it out.
Just tonight I pulled 1yo gas out of my 2) Atv's. It had Stabil in it....but it didnt smell quite right, and looked just a bit cloudy.
No way I'm risking it any longer. I will mix with some fresh & run it in the tractors, mowers, and wood chipper.

If you can pull it out and run it in something else. I have 220 gallons of treated 93 that I will have to deal with soon as well. The only part that is bad, is getting out the B.O.A.T. to fill it up again. You know the one Break Out Another Thousand........Treated gas with Stabil if done right will last a long time. I have three and a half years on the tank full in one of my generators and it still smells fresh and runs great. The smell of it will tell you as long as water is not sitting in it.

Burn it through vehicles. At least it won't be wasted

I run 93 octane ethanol fuel as I buy it on the street here in Illinois. I treat it for winter storage. Then in spring I pump it out and use it in all of my cars, lawn equipment etc. I don't want to take a chance of octane drop with my motors. Personally I don't think any type of additive will give you long term protection from water absorbtion or phase shift, especially with Ethanol added fuels.

I treat all my boats with full dose marine Sta-Bil each and every time we get gas. We winterize two of the boats and each year at end of season and through winter however long it lasts I run the gas through the cars. I made a simple pump with 20' hose and 20' clip leads if anyone interested.

I pumped 50 gallons of water-laden gas out of mine at the end of last summer. What a fuggin pain in the ass. Ran fine in the mower and wife's car though, lol.
