Baja outlaw 29, help me prop this boat

I'm a regular poster on other boating forums but new to offshore. I'm trying to help my dock mate prop his boat, he is older and not too forum savy.
He has the following:
Outlaw 29, 2003
496 mag, not an HO
Bravo 1, out drive.
Get 45 mph at 4600 rpm
Running a mirage plus, 19p

He said it should run faster and I agree. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what prop would be the best fit for this set up?
Thanks
David from Lake Erie, Ohio.

I have a 26' Donzi, 496HO, running a Bravo I 24P four blade...I'm surprised you're not spinning higher RPMs with a 3-blade 19P...

If thats a single, its not a 29. Either 25 outlaw, or 272/275. Either way, he should spin that prop to the limiters with no problem. Does he know how to trim?

My 29 single has a 21 mirage on it. Top gps is 55 and i have the 385 mag mpi 454 engine.
Comfortable ride but not any speed out of them.

You need to seek out Jason Smith with the 29 Outlaw "Bad Idea".

Thanks for the input. Is a 29 outlaw for sure. He is an experienced boater and knows how to trim a boat. He is not a guy that is as tuned in to how much the proper prop set up can benefit the boat. He was always into cruisers. I'll have to look up your reference. I've propped a lot of whalers in the past but have never dealt with the high hp you guys are running. One thing I do know is that the correct prop will make a night and day difference. What is the max rpm he should be running?

Lake Erie is a nasty body of water for those of you not familiar. The best set up for him will NOT be top end only, but a good all around performance prop that will give the boat decent top end with good mid range and out of the hole punch.

The single 375hp 496mag is going to push a 29 Outlaw to low 50's max. 99% sure WOT throttle range is 4400-4800, so he is there. How much fuel is he holding???? That can make a huge difference. Also, more trim. It may need the trim limiter adjusted.

Is the boat trailered? Lift kept? Bottom clean?
