When I incorporated my tile business, I kept the alphabet in mind. It is good to be in the "A's" for alphabetical listings such as yellow pages. I settled on "Absolut Tile Inc". "Absolut Marine" doesn't sound bad either.
Thats funny I did the same thing opened up the dictionary and the first word I came to that made any sense was Absolute (my nickname on the boat was Capt. Absolut) I used the name "Absolute" because I was affraid of tradmarks on "Absolut" but I do get a lot of phone calls from people that use 411. (I always ask where they got my number from) Plus I got a real good phone # so you can remember it after the recording is over:D

What's in a name?

I agree with the notion that the catch phrase is more important than the name. And, in honour of my friend who is the worlds greatest sneak, I would suggest:

"Welcome to ____ Marina. We promise we won't tell your wife!"

SEAN ; KNOWING YOUR PAST....WHY NOT CALL IT ...................... " UP-CHUCK MARINE "

Here's one for Cuda and Semper Fi:

"Absolute Hardcore Marine"

It'll get a lot of business from the Jarheads out there, and gets your name in the front of the book!

How about just "Absolute Hardcore"?
That way, you could work on boats AND sell your home movies!!! KA-CHING!!!!
