No contest, the checkmate for one reason: Stand up. When you launch of waves, the ability to absorb the shock with your legs is a must.
Between those two boats, I would choose the Checkmate. There is ZERO cockpit space in the Scarab, and no cabin. That Powerquest looks pretty nice. I'd try to find a 24 Superboat, Pantera, P&D, Jaws, etc. if I was looking in that size range. They can be found in that price range. |
Ended up going to see both, the checkmate had 1800hrs... lol and the owner fed me some bull**** about having the motor rebuilt but didnt know at what hrs or have bills. scarab was not too bad but like mentioned above too small of an interior... so spent a little more and went for this, picking her up tonight. 250hrs... mint! http://northbay.kijiji.ca/c-cars-veh...AdIdZ507605709
