Places to stay for Cumberland
 

Thinking of getting a crew together for Cumberland run. Called the state park resort and they are all booked up. Do I have any other options?

Good luck. This late in the game everything will be booked, especially anywhere close to State Dock (the host).

I made reservations in March for the resort and back then it was on the closer side to booked. At this point keep trying for a cancellation or bring an RV ?

call Lure Lodge at Statedock, I just cancelled 4 rooms, I got a houseboat instead

North/East from State Dock and a short boat ride you may find availability at a place called Alligator Inn. I believe it's $60 bucks a night and gives you a pillow to lay your head down and a place to shower. It's also 1-2 miles from two ramps. If you're bring a boat 25+ I would use the Alligator 1 ramp.

They may still have availability if Lure is sold out. Good luck.

We stayed a Lure in April tried to get a room for the Poker Run booked settled for a Condo at Apple Valley. Hope it works out.

If was not for OSO I would not be going ..... Thanks to a that helped.... You guys are great!!
