Floating Mats--Lake of the Ozarks

Hey Group--was down the for the Shootout last weekend and saw many many boats with a roll-up floating mat type of thing that you can walk or lay on while still being in the water. I heard they were made in Kansas somewhere---anyone know what they are officially called or where to buy them? From what I heard they can be 3 or 4 ply and they roll up and can be stowed on the swim platform--seemed like Styrofoam/polystyrene material....

Help?

Contact Eddie at Lake Ozark Marine. He's the dealer.

Thanks so far--that is the type of thing I'm looking for. Was rafted up with a group that had one from another manufacturer--know of any others?

aqua lilly pad are a little rough on the edge and the kids complain it scratches their arms. The Lake Ozark Marine ones they sell work good. they make them in 16 and 18 ft.

Water Mat was before Aqua Lilly as far as I know. Aqua Mat is blue with two thicker layers bonded. Aqua Lilly is green and yellow.

I don't know much on the physical differences. Both are growing in popularity. Aqua Lilly may have a slight pricing advantage.
At $400-500 they are not cheap but last longer than a $150-200 inflatable.
Definitely entertaining for kids and easier to climb back on than an inflatable.
They are also faster to deploy and pickup than an inflatable but both are fairly awkward and large to manage on the boat.

They roll from the end. Don't let people pull on the sides like they are trying to flip it over, that is a good way to tear them.

Overtons carries them. The kids or junior size is all you need. Have had one for about 3 seasons and are so much better than any inflatable. A little pricey at first glance but well worth the investment.

I have 6' x 18' and 6' x 14' Chill Mats. We can ship them if you like, my cell is 402-290-8070.

Right now the 18' mats are $499 with a $30.00 mail in rebate until September 15. Shipping is by truck and can get expensive.
