Granted they won't break 200 mph....but I wouldn't consider a Hydrostream a slow boat.

He really did not trim it up, get in it, and motor away per that video because Hydrostreams are one bad-ass boat which would leave that water-cop in his mist; HOWEVER, I have handled many cases like this in New Jersey (on land), and while I do not practice law in NY, nor do know I NY law, I read where he was charged with reckless endangerment (2nd degree NYS) and 3rd degree Unlawful fleeing, plus the BWI-BUI... he really pissed them off but good. Mistakes happen....

I would love to handle this case.....if it were in New Jersey!

63....That's a difficult age group

No ,they just gave me a safety inspection ,checked all my stuff and told me my boat was too loud and my flares were 1 day past their life .

They always hang out at the west end of the lake heading west on the canal . Every trip I ever took they were there in that area . If you got your safety gear , they have always been cool every time I was stopped

Couple weekends back I actually raced a local DNR boat, without the blue lights on. We had just locked thru together and they tossed me the throttle up sign a mile out of the chamber. Everyone onboard was sober, so I said lets see what ya got. The standard issue 18' aluminum hull with a single 300 Vmax is good for about 67mph if your considering running from one...
