This sure doesn't look right to me at all.

My Go-Pros have the same issue. Must be something in the optics of the wide-angle case and/or the editing software trying to steady the shot.

I had a Jack Daniels flashback watching that.

I see what you are saying Chris. The hills are flexing too! :D

I think that may be a ghost artifact of the lens. I have noticed the 'warpage' before on some low-angle go-pro shots.

Does something change in the editing? Not of the distortion but in the resolution. That played just fine on my descktop , but when I try to open a mp4 file I just shot with with my GoPro it won't play right. It starts and stops unless I really slow it down. The computer is about 5 years old. On my wifes 2 yearold laptop it plays fine.

if it was flexing that much, i would think you would see some massive cracke's in the boat.

You're computer could be glitching because of the MP4 player- maybe you don't have the processing power on that desktop? Does it play MPEG files ok?

You Tube (and other video sites) will try to make the files smaller to help with the download speeds.

Youtube added a feature a little over a year ago that it supposed to smooth out jerky videos, gives everything a kind of Salvador Dali feel/look. You can toggle it off when you upload if you want.
