Tommy,
I'm glad to see you're on a boating forum, perhaps your next step might be taking out your boat for the second time this season!

I tried Cape harbour for my new boat this month, and was told they want 12 month leases as a minimum. In the cape, that leaves Cape Coral Boat Club (where I have mine now until my new lift is finished), on a month by month basis and perhaps others further up the river that I do not know about. Have to warn you that there is a very low bridge under Del Prado Blvd. I think the clearance is only about 6'8" so my new 20 foot rig is tight with the bimini up at high tides.

Cape Coral Boat Club is where I have kept mine the last 2 winters, great people to deal with as said above 1 bridge to get in .
I have had No issues with the Sunny :)

I was wondering who can recommend a quality place to rack a boat this winter that they have had good experience with? We'ld like to bring our boat down this fall and explore the area waters. I've never racked a boat before, and I'm a little nervous about it getting banged up. I realize alot of places might not have space available. Thanks!
Steve

Be sure to come out to the Ft Myers Offshore runs season opener is Oct 12th.

I've kept my boat at Cape Coral boat club for quite a few years now. They are good people but they don't spent the right amount of time taking care of your boat. I am a meticulous guy of which they are aware and I've been a little disappointed along the way. Not sure why the way it is but all and all I guess that how it is.

I agree, we make sure everything is washed and flushed before leaving. If you keep a close eye on things it is one of the cheapest places by the month to indoor rack store in the area..

Thanks for the comments, they should be helpful with my decision!

Did you make a decision where you're leaving the boat or are you still checking things out.

You can try a spot in between call Boinita Springs the place is called

Don't know much about the place but it looks like a nice rack storage we bought a condo in Bonita Springs a few years ago and its a nice spot in between to large city areas.

I'm still looking around but I'ld like to get something finalized this week, temps in the 40's around here in the morning. We've probably got another month of pick the warmer day for boating.

I've heard that the Bonita Springs area is pretty nice, close to Naples without as high of a cost. The rack storage link you posted looks like it's set up for smaller boats though, mostly outboard bowriders pictured. Thanks for the idea though.
