How about the best of both worlds The Cape Coral /Ft Myers area in the winter/Spring and Lake Cumberland/Indy in the summer really has us always looking forward to the next season.

That's what we're looking to do, buy a two bed/condo back at LOTO for the four Summer months, I was wanting to see how most felt about cold weather and winters, they're not for me anymore and this past Summer down here there wasn't one day hotter here than Summer at LOTO.

Michigan! Most beautiful clear freshwater in the world! Tons of options for boating. Look on a map, no where else even comes close to the GREAT LAKES! Simply amazing!

4 Seasons are beautiful, especially If you CHOOSE To embrace them and Enjoy them. While living here I can enjoy traveling around the country but would not enjoy living anywhere else full time.

Given the fact I am self-employed I have a 5 year plan.

In a NORMAL real estate market I have about zero business from June 1st-Sept 1st as people assess hurricane season. That scenario would(will) allow me to head to LOTO for Memorial Day and return to S Fla. right after Labor Day.

I watch the market there weekly and figure a nice townhouse with a dock will work out real well.

I still LOVE my home state Missouri and of course LOTO, I was wondering if most people like the colder weather with winter or if you liked it warmer with no winter.

I will be down in about three weeks. Hope we can meet up. Maybe the Monkey Bar or Rum Runners for a drink. I vote for Cape Coral for the winters,ky for the summers.
