Anyone near Chillicothe Ohio OR Lakeview NY by Erie???
We are hitting both spots for a few days in the next week or so.

I have never boated in that area.

Looking for info.

Bryan, do you mean Lakewood, NY? I can not find a Lakeview that would be near Erie (Lake or City)

if you drop your keys in lakewood ohio . kick them to rocky river before you bend over to pick them up.

It is to the North East of a small town in PA called NORTHEAST, on RTE 20, that is where I bought my Donzi.

Ohio I know well, but not boating info.

Hi Bryan, My map shows that Lakeview is closer to Buffalo, NY then North East Pa. I am about 40 to 50 miles from Lakeview or North East. I am in Lakewood NY, on Chautauqua Lake.

Are you bringing your boat? When will you be in the area?

My wife was talking about Hamburg Beach a few minutes ago, I would prefer to boat on Erie, and use a ramp, not a lift.

Just looked at MAPTECH.com and it seems Lakeview is damn near on Erie, question is where is the nearest ramp???

I will be seeing an employee that lives in the Lakeview area and ask him about ramps. I know that there is one in the area but just can not come up with the name and location. Too bad youwill not be here for the weekend as Saturday is the Buffalo Poker Run. Unless a Buffalo area member posts tonight...I will get the location of the ramp tomorrow.

Where is all the Buffalo Prun boys putting in, Nancy says that Buffalo is like 15 to 20 minutes away.
She grew up on lake Erie but that was many moons ago.

Where is the info on the Buffalo Poker Run?

Bryan, the Poker Run is based out of a marina on Grand Island so most people launch in North Tonawanda.

As far as I know the closest marina to Lakeview would be Sturgeon Point which is in or near Angola, NY.

RLW, I don't think that the Buffalo Club has a web site. The Poker Run is Saturday and is based out of River Oaks on Grand Island. It is a nice run. Entries are closed but there is provisions for late entries. I will PM to you John And Jean Sherwoods. phone number.

Thanks man, we know of Sturgeon point, it has a ramp and no Dock and quite shallow....
We discussed last night the possibility of NOT taking the boat and just going to party etc....
My wife is at the mid-life thing and she want's to see her school and father's grave etc.....
So we may just 4 Wheel drive for fun, I just hate all the waxing to get all them scratches of the F250....

The Buffalo Poker Run is out of River Oaks Marina next door to the Holiday Inn on Grand Island the parties are at the Inn. For more info call John @ 716-773-0028. But they may be sold out. You could still run with them
There are ramps near our Marina and a map on our website at: www.eastpier.com/
We are also the first card stop. The hotel is just acros the river from us.

COOL, two different runs, I will mark BOTH sites, the wife is originally from HamBurg NY, her twin is in Lakeview.
We love to visit there to escape the heat of Va Beach.

Next Wednesday I am blowing off work to go to Canada, its only 40 miles. I hope you can find some time to boat with us Erie guys. I would love to show you around, now that you dont need your winter clothes.

I am going to be at the Annapolis Boat Show Oct. 17th on VIP day. Do you go to that show? When the time gets closer, I will put up a post to try and get some OSO'rs to meet up there. Will be staying in Deale MD. while there.
