Good luck with the boat Craig.

Old School at the sand bar discussing the motors........250, 300 whatever it takes!

My first thing that I was planning to do was to remove the 300 stickers.... but they have been clear-coated on there. I'm gonna find some stickers to cover that. ;)

those are just the trolling engines correct? your running chief turbo bbc's inside the hull for getting to the fishing hole in a hurry right?

so pier 57 didn't bother to run the engine vins and figure out what engines the boat actually has on it, then advertized it as having a different type of engine than what's really on it??? wtf

350 Verado stickers instead?! :stooges: Congrats on the new ride!!

Yes, we ran the numbers on the motors and they did come up 250 EFI's. The Opti thing was a listing error.

mosi 10-02-2013 03:38 PM

Put 150 stickers on them and let others try to figure out why their boats are running for chit!! :)

Posts like that are the reason why people working in the boating industry don't post on this website anymore. It was a great deal. I am happy and pier57 is happy. That's all that matters. ;)

Heck, put 9.9 stickers on there, and take it to a 25HP limit lake. :D I would.

We hit 60.7 with six people and full of fuel with some less than perfect props on it,. I think it will run 65 when I get it where I want it to be. ;) So far....it's a fantastic boat!!!!!!!! I've put about ten hours on it in the last week and love it!!!!!

Thanks, we're getting there. The pool and monkey cage is next!

As far as the "moving from HP boat" to a center console.... I love it!!! We have put 54 hours on the boat, done two poker runs, been offshore fishing in it twice and like it A LOT!!!!!! It's a party barge!!

I installed two 5 meter strands of LEDs under the gunnels, which lit it up pretty good and am assembling my stereo components now. That will be installed in January. We decided to go with a Fusion IP700i receiver which will be connected and controlled by the Garmin 5212 unit. A JL audio 5 channel 1000watt amp, which will drive two JL Audio subs and four additional speakers. It's gonna sound sweeet!!

Here's a picture of us getting ready to idle home after dinner a few weeks back. My wife was all happy with her "GoCup" of wine......... Until I spilled it less than two minutes later! LOL :D

It's about 14 degrees here now, light snow, 20 mph wind out of the North, and the temps will go lower through the afternoon.

Just Perfect boat testing weather ;)

I would like to thank Carey @ Pier57, as well as Scott Shogren, David Woods and Greg Weber. Great people to do business with. :) Greg actually took the boat out and sea-trialed it for me after the survey. I didn't need to be there. :D

I left DC at 2:00 on Friday afternoon. Got in Chicago 12 hours later, slept for about 5 hours and then went to Pier57 for delivery. Hit the road a little after noon and got back in Maryland at 3:45 am. Up at 9am, cleaned bugs and road grime off and then went boating all day. The boat is cool, is in great shape and actually performs better than I thought it would. Here are a few pics...

Sean's old boat! Congrats. I almost bought it from him a couple years ago.

Maybe you'll be ready to sell in the next year or two and I can buy it from you! Lol ;)
