Good weather that time of year most of the time. FMO is a Blast. We have lots of friends that bring there boat down for the winter now and fly back and forth for FMO runs!

Funny comments and probably all too true. One of the reasons I'm coming down is to look at some houses and possibly buy something as a second home. I have the rental from the 23rd to the 30th and I'll be driving Friday, so it might be tough to make the Saturday run, but it's possible. I'm staying on Coral Drive in Cape Coral, so if anyone has any ramp recommendations, let me know. Thanks for all encouragement! Unless there is an early blizzard up here, I'll probably go for it.

True story for us, we rented a house for the (whole) month of February 2012, went home and fixed a few things at our LOTO house, put it up for sale in July 2012, closed September 2012 on LOTO house, closed on the the Cape house Oct 2nd 2012 and enjoyed out first winter in beautiful sunny Florida last winter and joined FMO, great group of people.

With today being October 2nd it's our one year anniversary for moving to Florida and wouldn't change a thing, when you get down let us know and if you don't have your boat someone will surely get you out on the water.

Must provide proof of insurance and that is all there is to it. Consider leaving the boat there for the winter and do a few more runs if you like. Lots of helpful people in the club and will provide assistance in finding storage etc.
Good luck with whatever you decide.

If I can get my truck situation fixed by then I would really enjoy to come down for this run. We have ZERO plans for thanksgiving and no family either so this would be perfect for us.

Make sure you have at least two spares if your tires are 2years old or more. I had 2 lose their tread on the way down one year.
