About Sonic 31ss measurements

Here are my questions about the Sonic 31ss:
Length of boat without the platform?
The bridge clearance?
The overall height on trailer?
Weight of the boat?
How would the boat do for 1000 Islands Poker Run?

I would like to eventually upgrade to a Sonic 31ss I just wanted to know more about it.

JimDiesel has a killer 31ss for sale right now

Sonic said the weight was 7000 lbs dry. Not sure of exact height on the trailer, but I can tell you it will fit through a 10' tall garage door with no problem.

I have a 358 and on trailer it's about 8' high.

7k dry sounds about right also.

Mine is on an aluminum rocket trailer and is 92-94 inches high(can't remember exactly). But that means it will fit through an 8' garage door opening! The weight is 7500lbs dry and that doesn't include options such as AC. The overall length without the platform is 30'. It used to be called a 30ss when it first came out. Not sure on bridge clearance, but I would guess 4 1/2 feet. You will love the boat. I came out of a 27' fountain and the sonic is much more accommodating and rides 100x better.

Thank you guys for the info.

Did you not just buy your Baja?

What did you decide to do with your building? what size are you going with?

A 31 Sonic won the 271 mile Don Aronow Around Long Island Race a couple of years back. The race was on the same weekend as hurricane Igor. If it can run easily in that kind of water, it can run in any poker run.

SP123 here on OSO has a new sonic with very low hours that you might be able to get a great winter deal.

Yes I did buy my Baja last March. However in the next five years I would like to upgrade to a Sonic 31ss. With the Sonic I would be able to have an easier time going across Lake Michigan. Also be able to overnight in it. On my bucket list to be in the 1000 Island Poker Run. With the building that will be in the future. I would like to go with 48' wide by 70' deep for the garage. With the garage I would attach it to the house. The house would be less than 2000 sq. ft. I would hope that I can get the house and garage at some point in the future.

Top Banana, I just wanted to let you know that I'm not looking to buy a Sonic 31ss right now. That's going to have to wait. I'm sorry about that there.
