I like spending other peoples money as much as the next guy. But really would like to see this boat fully dialed in with the power it has first. I think he'll be just shy of or right at 100. That may not be good enough for some, but would prove the builders vision.

I also find it neat, that this boat is part of a resurection of the hull and part of the proof that this hull can indeed be fast with modest power.

If check300 upgrades power and drives later I think that will be cool too, but it's never going to be the sleeper his other boat is.

I was on the boat in and out on one of the first water tests, didn't go for a spin but I knew one of the guys running it so I checked it out, I thought it was a extremely good build and quality, the boat is amazing looking, I loved it! very nice boat!!!

Congrats to the new owner!!

Nice to see it running a way more respectable number. Congrats it looks like nice set up. Just watched the captain america 2 trailer its hard not to think of this boat,
On a different note, and maybe not the place to ask but did the building of this boat bankrupt checkmate?

I'd love to see both of Bill's boats at LOTO for the Shootout, with the Convincor running in the event.

I'm surprised Checkmate built this boat with no buyer/ deposit before hand. That's an awful risky choice for a company that has never built something that big. Sweet boat though! Congrats

It was a sold order. A local dealer ordered it and was going to use it for promotional purposes. The dealer closed their boat business about the same time as the completion of the boat. It was only used a couple times and out for sale.

Congrats to the new owner. Beautiful boat. As far as the other gentleman who is upset that it "only" runs 94 goes, How can you be upset? A fully loaded 43' boat with reliable power, not even broken in, runs 94 and for 200k, some would call this a jackpot. Congrats again

I love this boat, its beautiful and bad ass!
That being said
Maybe not a lot of folks spend every weekend on their boat like us so this may only pertain to me but if I were to build a boat like that,..... I`d do less couch (who sits around in the cuddy) and move the V birth back so it doesnt end in a 'head butting V' .
One of the major reasons I bought my current boat. No headbutts
