Congrats!

First boat I personally read about on here or heard about through friends that actually RUNS with the SCX-4 drives. Whatever they did to that drive worked!

174 is pretty damn crazy...would be looking at a death sentence with an XR boat. I thought Dustin Whipple had a fast 28 that he pulled the power out of because it was dangerous with XRs???

The lower bullet was cast to big in the center.By shaping it and sharpening the leading edges-cured the problem-same type of work that Wilson would do on a #6.

Congrats. This is an amazing boat. Showing again that Eliminator builds some super fast hulls. 174mph with just over 1k HP per side is very impressive.

Perhaps you missed the rpm 26 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3zwFRkSOjCc Pretty sure thast Steve Tripp's personal boat, ran about the same as the #6 boat with simular power if that says any thing. I think the some of the slower boats were too deep they need to be rigged like a #6 to work

skater40 10-26-2013 05:17 PM

That is as smooth a ride as it gets.NO porpoise and on rails.

Props to Wilson's custom Marine, for an outstanding job on a new SCX-4 lower, will still need them to tweak the prop some, not gonna lie was running 110 octane fuel, but that puts the motor @ 1071hp, from 1035
