Start at convention center then take water taxi to Bahia. You will see all center consoles at the convention center and most everything else at Bahia in the water

Yeah, what he said. Or the show has buses running.

PARADOX 10-27-2013 06:19 PM

Parking? lol NONE. or pay $50+ Buy a scooter, park on the grass. Actually, I let you know in a secret. Just North of Bahia, there is a small shopping center, go buy something, keep your receipt, and park all day.

NORTECH-ANGLER 10-27-2013 09:11 PM

Dont listen to cash bar! He wished me dead in the ohio state stadium collapse yesterday! He is not a nice guy! Lol but we still won!

I always park at the convention center parking garage if you get there early there is plenty of parking, I go straight out the back and catch the bus to Bahia Mar, then after getting hot walking around in the sun all day I take the bus back to the nice cool convention center and see the stuff there last.

First time going to the Lauderdale show and didn't realize the lack of performance boats in attendance. I'll still have a blast but somewhat disappointed.

I was very dissapointed there was not a better portfolio of performance boats also. Was hoping that some of the race boats were not on display before KW. Will have to wait for another week, or camp out on the bridgle and watch them make the the journey south

Jupiter Sunsation 10-28-2013 07:47 AM

It is a good show, NorTech and Formula will have full line displays. As far as raceboats, the show promoters charge for everything so teams would actually have to pay huge money to display a boat! Waste of money for most teams!

Not having Cigarette there will be odd since they always had 4-5 boats on display and had some epic boats there in the past like Phil's 42X Purple Haze, 46 Rum Runner and even had a few MTIs in their display area over the years. It surely comes down to money, if the cost of being there wouldn't translate into a sale or two then it isn't worth the hassle especially with only a dealer or two nationwide to help defray the costs.

TBAG 10-28-2013 08:48 AM

That who I was really looking forward to seeing too, the Cigs.

jackie.fpc 10-28-2013 11:54 AM

I hear Nor-Tech got the Cig spot.

That is correct. We will have a wide variety of boats on display including a new 4000 Supercat Roadster. C'mon by.

Sweet, I was hoping the performance manufacturers were bringing more than just center consoles (which I heard)

Great, we will look for ya. I assume it will be at Bahia Mar? We will be there Saturday only and staying the night a little over a mile from Bahia so walking might be the way to get there then water taxi to convention center. Looking forward to it as we are first timers to Lauderdale show.

Nate5.0 10-29-2013 09:27 AM

Booking our hotel tonight but down there for other reasons. Not sure if we are even going to try and hit up the actual boat show. If so it will be only on Sunday and for a short time so have to pick out spot. Staying less than a mile from Bahia so I am guessing if anywhere that will be the best spot.

Shooters is now closed but the Water Taxi is probably still running to the Crab House next door south.

HTRDLNCN 10-29-2013 02:50 PM

MTI-V is all moved in

1 Attachment(s)
We have one new MTI-V 42 on the "Performance Dock"... Near Nor Tech, Midnight, Formula, and Sunsation...

We also brought another 42 V for demos... That boat will be at the Quay Marina, behind the Bimini Boatyard Restaurant..

We didn't bring any Cats to the show... The cat show will be at the FPC poker run to Key West...

Need to see an MTI Cat... No problem... I have a few near by.

See you at the show.

Nate5.0 10-30-2013 09:38 AM

Anyone going to the "The Yellow Party"? Just sent in our RSVP the other day. Sounds like it should be a good time and like the "boat casual" for dress code lol.

E Colby 10-30-2013 03:51 PM

Lauderdale has never been a strong performance show. It's always been about the yachts. Miami in February is a much better show for performance fans.
