Anyone coming to St. Louis races
The St. Louis tunnel boat races are next weekend, any OSOers coming to the event
Just wandering Randy Wild |
I will probably be there at least on of the days, probably at the Grey Eagle Distributors bus.
|
Mpally...
You're not going to come to the Lake...
What is wrong with you>>>??? Party Cove vs. Tunnel boats = PARTY COVE!!!!!!!! :p  |
Tbone, I know. I have a lot chit going on right now. I also entered into a golf tourney at the lake over the shootout weekend. It is a three day tourney too. It sucks, but my partner and i have a good chance of finishing well, so I am in. I will get to the shootout though, just a little late. We better be teeing off in the morning or I will be pissed. No only will it be hotter than hell, but I will also miss the shootout. Matt goes back to Minnesota next week so I have been hanging around the house a bit more on the weekends. I will be down on Thurs. of Labor Day though.

If my uncle goes to race I will prob. go and help him in the pits.
|
is this at Creve Coure lake?
|
Yeah...Creve Coeur Lake is the place. Any other OSO' ers going? I'm gonna flip by Saturday morning.
|
I'll be there -- as usual. :D

BK do you race, or are you coming to watch
If you race, what boat, and what class Randy Wild |
Hi Randy ~
I no longer race tunnels, but there's no way I'd miss St Louis -- it's the one race where all the past racers come to watch. Last year, there were UIM tunnel boat pilots from South Africa, South America, Singapore, Norway and more - who just came to watch. Even Jerry Gilbreath was walking around the pits. I'm bringing a celebrity with me this year! Renato Molinari's cousin who is also the son of the late great Italian tunnel racer Cesare Scotti -- Massimo Scotti, who's coming all the way from Milan to meet his dad's former foes and to see this great race! Great racing and great people. It's going to be a lot of fun! http://www.screamandfly.com/screaman...ne/Scotti.html |
I hope to make it but a couple of friends will be there.
New 120 boat running also. |

Does anybody have the results from today? I did not go due to the weather. BTW, who was sitting on the ground yesterday in front of the Grey Eagle bus with a OSO t-shirt on? I was talking with someone when I noticed the shirt, but you where gone by the time I was finished talking.
|
That was me and my wife (the blond) and Scuba Steve and his wife (brunet).
I was going to back today, but when I got out of church it was raining hard. Sorry I missed you. I did have a chance to have lunch with Laurie Vidal on Fri. He is the chaplin from the MRO (Motor Racing Outreach). he is a great guy. Randy |
Any word on how qualifying was going? I did not get to go either. I was supposed to go to SLC tomorrow and as it turns out I'm not going. Black F2 SSt 120 motor(S) were down rpm's Wednesday boat #28? or F1 Jason Campbell, bad ass red boat???
