That's awesome but it will probably flop because of the cost vs others making the same power for way cheaper.

Its very intresting, I could see it actually working. Nelson, Proline, sonnys etc aren't giving away engines either. Id be curious to see what the prices actually are. I would be good product for a supercar manufacturer, 1650 HP and its not an engine pirated form some other car. Saleen, Hennessy, Mosler etc. But for the average guy probably won't make sense, Id rather have this http://www.prolineracing.net/engines/plr-670ci-4000-hp + http://www.prolineracing.net/efi-pac...bo-efi-package 4000hp for around 100,000k

Hopefully opening the QC4V engine to the non marine market will actually make the overall engine less expensive...more units sold less production cost/unit. Only time will tell.....

Mercury Racing offering the long block route as well also opens up engine builders to experiment on the QC4V - if it is still viable from the purchase price

The car is ugly. They should have had the boys at Lavey Craft paint it.

I wanna see what the Stig could do with it and where it would end up on the Power Lap board

It is a variation (bodywork) of the Ultima GTR. Car is built as a roller/kit for the US (made in UK). Pretty popular high HP chassis and has several records. Very bad ass ride. A lot of people have no idea what Mercury has done with the BBC platform/architecture, so this is pretty cool and I'm sure has people scratching their heads!

Soooo, how in the hell are they cooling it? :poopoo:

phragle 11-05-2013 05:19 PM

Come on Cash, they make this thing called a radiator.. its like an intercooler but backwards. Instead of the water cooling the air, the air cools the water.
