Dag gone George Williams was going to buy my boat.
I accused him of being a scammer. He informed that I was very insultive and gave me an address in Houston to check out. I google earthed it and it is a parking lot. Knew it was a scam from the start. |

That looks pretty damn legit. Always call and verify cashiers checks. They steal real checks and fill them in thats usually how they have water marks and legit account numbers. Been through that nightmare.

I got the same email but he was asking questions that was already listed on add. I did not respond.

Not sure if its the same guy or not but i had a guy in TX claiming to be a coast guard guy and was out on duty for a few weeks and would have his daughter come and pick up a BBC i was selling that she needed for her daily driver.....wanted to pay me with a cashiers check and have her pick up the engine...i told him to send me the check and i will contact him 2 weeks after everything clears.......never heard back again. :)

Just watch out because I bet they are targeting more than just me and he may go away as I have questioned his lineage along with just about every foreign slur I can think of!! You should have said "Deal" and had him wire you $350, then say "Sorry, I thought you where sending me a deposit, you can have the boat when you send me the rest of the 350K"

I forwarded it to an internet securities guy who I am very good friends with and he is trying to get an IP and see if this DBag is in the states...
