Default Audio/Video Ideas.... Keeping it simple.....

My Sonic came with a TV, DVD player, and of course audio system. Before I owned it the Audio was upgraded with some good speakers and an amp. System sounds fine and I'm very happy with it. My TV has never worked since the day I bought it. My wife bought me a nice 12 volt hd flat screen TV for Christmas. Seems like it will fit nice in the same spot as the old one. My question is about the DVD player that is dated and useless to me. I want to be able to play directly from my iPhone/Ipad...... iTunes movies, Music, Netflix, etc, etc...... What is out there today to make this happen. Any ideas will be appreciated......

I just use the A/V cables to connect my iPhone to the video to my TV and the audio to the stereo, or all to the TV for a no theater sound. Have to use the Apple brand cable though. This is with my iPhone 4 with the old jack. Never checked into the new cables for my 5 with the new smaller jack

Use a AppleTV. Get 12v to 110v inverter or you can modify the ATV to use 12v. I think I saw someone online selling modified Apple TV for car use.

I will buy the wires from the Apple store to try this. Actually a good idea because it's mostly for the kids and I will still have music in cockpit....... Thanks.....
