C-MAP NT+ or BlueChart?

Which do you like better?

from the demo units at west marine I like the Blue chart the best, that will be my next software/GPS, it had a little more info on there that the others did not have, shows water depth{and shows date of when it was recorded} underwater wrecks and many other things,

I was getting ready to buy something for my garmin 180 . DO these work in it ?

I have used NT charts on my Cigarette for a while but just upgraded my sport fish with a Garmin color 2010 which uses Bluechart.
VERY nice detail & extremely accurate. I like the Bluecharts better!

DJD, couple of follow-up questions:

Were you using C-MAP NT or C-MAP NT+, and on what plotter?
What plotter are you using the bluechart on?

Thanks!

I'm using C-MAP NT+ in my Leica MK-40 color. Bright screen, fast redraw, great detail. The difference is vector vs. raster graphics.

dloftis 08-09-2002 11:50 AM

which is vector and which is raster?

ForrestC 08-09-2002 11:54 AM

C-MAP is vector and Bluechart is raster. Both are good.
