Buyer a few years later was trying to ignite some dud M80's (they didn't light the first time around) so he put them in a pile and lit it up........nothing happened so he decided to kick them while wearing flip flops..........yeah bad timing cost him 4 toes (only the pinky toe remains)............Some guys aren't bright their whole life! :D |
funny chit happens..... my friend and his dad were out in his 24ft blow-boat dragging their dingy after spearing lobster and hogfish all day in freeport bahamas. this fella from new york was up in the parasail that had a metal seat arrangement hung under the sail. the parasail boat was clipping along and made a wide turn away from the wind. the driver was not paying much attention and saw my friend heading down the cut to go into lucaya, he powered down a bit , went to go around him and the wire grabbed my friends mast. he powered up and pulled the blow-boat over dumping my buddy and his dad in the drink. the guy in the seat came down like a rock and hit the water. my friend was a dive instructor and made sure his dad was ok and at the dingy. he got the new yorker all untwisted and out of the chair. the parasail driver was a mess. could have been a disaster and almost was. funniest thing was his dad telling the story and proud as heck they had the lobster and hogfish in the dingy so all was not lost. stays and rigging were happily replaced by the parasail dude. he looked a lot like the guy in the video. sold the boat and bought a mako.
