Still not sold, sounds like 1000 chainsaws and you cant go over 20 if your water has over a foot of chop so useless where I live. Need some size. Cool for what it is tho.

I sold my boat in October, and told Santa over and over I wanted one of these to tool around in. I wasn't even greedy about power.

My motors are naturally aspirated and making approx. 1.5 HP's per cu. in. How's your 502 doing?? BTW, that equates to 750 HP's for your motor. Again, naturally aspirated. And mine runs pretty fair at speeds over 20, in chop over a foot too  http://i290.photobucket.com/albums/l...ps5a2800b0.jpg |

BTW, w/the recent talk of top end passes, this boat went 141 on radar in the '80's. Pre GPS. No juice. He was an STV dealer in Ohio and where I bought my River Rocket. That boat was evil. I rode in it a couple times. http://i290.photobucket.com/albums/l...s/DSCF0017.jpg When Jim ran it down the Lake, it made an unbelievable howling sound that you'd never forget I'm sure that a lot of this had a definite effect on me leaning heavily toward outboard power on the last 8 boats that I've owned |
