Feed back on Cobra Performance
 

I'm just checking to see if any one can give me any feed back on cobra performance. I'm looking for a good engine builder in fl and a friend told me about them but I would like a second opinion seeing that I don't see much boats with their engines.

We had them rebuild all 3 Merc Racing 700's on our Donzi 43ZR. Only have about 8-10 hours so far but they run great thus far. Main reason we went with Cobra was the fact that they gave us a 50hr warranty with no time limit. To me that says a lot about confidence in their work. I also have spoken with Joe Sabo who has a 38 Cig with twin Cobra 1000's and he has nothing but good things to say about Randy/ Cobra.

i have no first hand dealing with randy but he has been around for a long time and i have not heard anything negative about him or his business.

how much power are you looking for. got a pr of cobra 750's with 5 hours on them for 30k can ship. half the price of new. they run incredible. build sheets and dyno sheets inclluded

I've bought misc obsolete parts for my boat nobody else could find. good guy to talk to. never run there motors but going off past experience i wouldn't hesitate to.

Had a pair of 1200 Cobras in my Cigarette that ran flawless.

Randy has been building big power for 30+ years in south Florida. He answers your calls, gives a warranty, stands behind his work, and will work with you to make the deal happen. He takes trades. And nobody has anything bad to say. I asked for 800 hp motors. First pull on the Dyno, they made 970hp. Tuned them to 850. Randy and cobra as advertised. Remember even the best parts in the world, with the best setups, and assemblies can have a failure. Lots of factors in building high rpm, high hp motors. Randy is a good one, who will make it right even if their is a problem

And by the way, a lot of boats have cobra power. I have seen cobra power throughout the poker run circuit

Randy built me a pair of 1200 for my 40 ss skater in 2011. Gave me a warranty and guaranteed me 150. He personally dialed in the boat as well all-inclusive and we got everything he promised. 0ver 100 hrs so far and boat runs flawless.

You cant stay in business that long if you suck or do bad deals, it's hard to find a bad word about Randy. I don't think you'll have any problems dealing with him... Go For It :)

Have an Outerlimits in stock with Cobra power that runs great. He helped a buddy in FL for the poker run a few weeks ago, when no one else had the parts, with sea water pump at the dock no questions asked. Great service and prices, does what he says he will do.
