Ran across lake Erie from Detroit to PIB with a small craft warning in my Velocity 260. Wave were 5-7 with swells much larger. It was cold, windy, and certainly wet. But we made it. We were a half an hour behind the Jet Express (they make an annual run from Ford Yacht club in Grosse Ile to PIB) people were falling over on the Jet Express, that will give you an idea of the conditions.... . I wouldn't do it again, but I can say I did it...........

I concur with Ratman.

Either the Bahamas trip I took a couple years ago in the Sea Ray or the run back across Pontchartrain 4 years ago in my Fountain with RB in that storm... A bunch of cats came out of the cove then turned around but we just nailed it. Broke both bolsters and bathroom door it was soooo rough but we ran between 90-110 the whole way!

I went for a ride with Bobby Saccenti in the first chief, First Mohican, in 3'-5's. It was an amazing experience to say the least!

Navigated for Reggie Fountain in the original Ohio Express in the Lake Ontario poker run in 3 to 5's.

Driving my own boat through Government Cut. Probably not a big deal to all you Miami/South FL dudes, but for me it was the crescendo of my boating life. For a kid from Chicago who, in 6th or 7th grade, watched Miami Vice religiously, to achieve something I NEVER thought would happen...damn...I get a high just thinking about it!
