Default Beware, Holley chrome dual feed fuel lines!

Ive been chasing a gremlin all summer. New Holley double pumper this spring and Ive hads alot of mysterious intermittent power problems. Today, I was changing the secondary jets. When I pulled the fuel line, I noticed a decent size chunk of chrome in the fitting on the carb. Turns out these idiots chromed the inside of the fuel line as well. If you take the line on and off a few times, the chrome will begin to flake. I had little shiny slivers everywhere in my fuel bowls. Completely disassembled and cleaned bowls and metering blocks . Ill be ordering up some braided asap and sending this crap back to Jegs. I cleaned the inside of the lines as well as I could since I couldnt procure a new one tonight and tomorrow we run with the OSO group to Racine. Done venting now

I was going braided as well. Its alot easier to change front or back jets w/o having to remove the line from both bowls.
