This is a great thing for them in the morning. They were moored stern towards the houses last night and a 6 o'clock wake up call from a set of blower motors would have been really popular with the locals I bet.

Does anyone know what time they actually left this morning? It's about 10min to 1pm here on this coast and they haven't made it to Santa Barbara yet according to the tracker.

Jason Johnson is in Long Beach now. Russell and Rodgers are currently south of Santa Barbara. They had planned to be in Long Beach before 1 p.m.—Johnson has no information regarding the delay from the support team in Long Beach. His plan was to have a news story up today on speedonthewater.com, as well as a feature story on the home page of offshoreonly.com. Depending the team's arrival time in Long Beach, both of those stories may have to wait until this evening or tomorrow morning.

Speedonthewater.com is out on the Sea Tow boat awaiting the arrival of the Outlaw Offshore Racing team in Long Beach, Calif. Bob Russell and John Rogers are expected to arrive shortly after opting to bypass the stop in Marina del Rey.
