Default LOTO Shoot Out

I am thinking of making the trip from VA, looks like about 17 hours. What is the best place to stay? Is any one looking to share a place for that weekend. It will probably be just myself and maybe my brother or a date.

Also JBK, if I remember right LOTO is your playground, from our drunken meeting at the OSO party in miami.

Also is their a web site for the Shoot out???

Thanks

WILL

As far as lodging, try Tan-Tar-A. You could also go through a management company. Do you have any preferences of were to stay?

Mpally,

I really don't have a huge preference on where I want to stay. I would like to be close to where the parties are so I don't have to boat at night on a unfamiliar lake. It is possible I could sleep on the boat, but a 27Fever is a little cramped. All I really need is a place to tie up at night. I usually end up sleeping on the boat anyway

Well, if you want to stay close to all the action, then I would suggest Lazy Days, the Ledges, Inn at the Grand Glaize, or Compass Point. Hoever, we have a house, so I do not have any of the numbers. If noone else responds with the numbers, I will try and find them for you.

Mpally,

I appreciate the help. I was just looking at what class I may want to enter in. I think I fall under the V2F1 winner last year did 77mph. I will need to get a different prop to take that.

I like Lazy Days they have vairy nice docks in a no wake bay. Or if you want to stay on your boat party cove is jest around the corner. The state park has a vairy nice lonch ramp and don't forget to bring some Beads.

What size motor do you have? Remember, 500's are considered modified, not stock.

The 500's are considered the 'F' factory class. The 'S' stock class is for the 454mag's & 502's.

MNHowardcat & Mach1shorty

I am running a 500efi (stock), so I am pretty sure it is the V2F1

V= V hull
2= 27-30'
F= Factory/modified 502
1= Single motor

So lazy days is right beside the INFAMOUS party cove, Oh and yes I always bring beads, The girls in Lake Murray SC learned that

I heard the smallest boat class is 22'... is there a class for a 18' w/modified small block?
