until u get in to the bigger models of the fountains the cabin is small. the cabin on the 32 is not even close to my 33 zx and has a lot less in it. I have heat/air, fridge, microwave, cook top, tv, full bathroom, 5'5" head room in the cabin and tons of storage. u don't get that all in a 32 beak boat...... just sayin
"Best/better" are relative terms. It all depends on what you want out of your boat.
Live on the lake or a vacation pad?
--Cabin not important.
Visit a lake for weekend at a time staying on the boat?
--Cabin very important.

Good eye. When I bought the boat it had huge scoops and the motors were side-by-side. I had it converted to a staggered set up and ordered a new style hatch from the Fountain/Donzi factory. The first hatch they made came out perfect - but unfortunately they used the mold for a 38 ZR pleasure. When they discovered their mistake they looked everywhere but could not find the hatch mold for the ZRC. The boat needed to go to the painter so Fountain took my old hatch (which was in pretty rough condition) and repaired it to like-new condition. In doing so they simply moved one of my scoops forward to reflect the stagger set up - but you are correct, it is offset somewhat from the air intakes on the mills. I'm ok with that because I would rather not have that salt water ram-air injected into the intakes. In hindsight, I wish I had them turn the opening of the scoops to the rear for just that reason as many of the newer boats do.
