Default Sell, Trade, Part Out?

Thinking of selling my 30 foot Profile, but have also considered tradeing or parting it out. In the next three years I'm moving to Florida, after I retire ( Just bought House in Lake Placid). As the lake I will be on 30 foot is a bit much, so I will down size to a minimum of a 24 footer, more lake friendly! My Profile has alot of expensive parts such as a 572 Merlin, scat crank, 871 blower, dual 850 Holleys, Lighting Exhaust, MSD, full hydrallic streering, Max Machine Worxs Out Drive, newer interior, newer trailer, boat is above average condition for a 1994. Not sure what to do, will not give it away either, any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I would keep it. I live in central fl and there is plenty of big water to run on. The St. Johns River is where I live and I can go from Lake Monroe north all the way to Jacksonville. If you want I'll trade you my '82 Stinger 260 for your fast boat. Gator...

the problem with parting a boat out is you hafta have NO feelings for the hull. cuz you must either take it to the dump or sell it for next to nothing to somebody who will never get it back together and then it will go to the dump. plus six feet of hull length i don't think makes that much diff compared to the length of the lake.
