500's should put you right around 80mph. The 38 AVS's have a tubular swim platform.

My 33AVS with 500EFI'S runs 82 A 38AVS should run 77-78. a 38AVS is a BIG boat for a 38.

I Think all said and done more like 75 on the 38 with 500's. On a good day light and the right conditions maybe 80. I use to work at Ocean Beach marina in New Jersey at one time they were the largest wellcraft dealer in the world... Lots of scarabs went out of there.

All we need is some plutonium and that fountain will hit the century mark. Or if we could some how get it to be struck by a bolt of lightning.
