Check city marina but I usually on see yachts in there, I am the GM of the Hilton , the only hotel on the course and our exec. Lounge on the 15 floor looks down on the marina and track.

It's going to be very tough for that event.

Call and check the Vinoy but I think the city marina is full. You might have to dock as say clearwater marina and boat around and over to the event. Also look at the marina next to hula bay for that same idea.

Try the Harborage Marina. Just south of the race course. It is a nice, quiet, well protected marina that is close. Not much for food or night life though!

Wouldn't mind taking ours over for the race if we can. Might have to look into the idea.
