Good for you. I took my Brother-in-law and his family out once. He said, "I'll buy the gas and the beer"! So I got back to the dock after a day on the lake and started filling up. I could see him eyeing the pump spinning like a top. 50 gal, 80 gal, 110 gal. 140 gal and clicked. Then he told me ahhh I don't have that much money on me and a matter of fact I don't have that much money in the bank. I said don't worry about it just go get us some more beer because we drank the 2 cases I brought. He came out with a six pack. I'v also had joy riders try to slip me a ten or twenty....I tell them thanks but no thanks it's the thought that counts.

curious about that, at one time it was anything over 500 inches per the IHRA, I know there is a 1000 inch motor out there. Always thought the 572 was safely in by any definition.

I would like to know the current definition and it's source, thanks

As far as I knew Mountain motors were built on a completely custom platform not attainable via a factory block. There are small blocks that are in the 520" range now. There isn't a specific definition for Mountain Motor though, it is open to interpretation.
