circulating water ump making noise

Found this water circulating pump online, has anybody used this people before ?current water pump on port engine is making a rubbing noise kind of like a rusty bearing when engine is on , was advice to change it , I have seen the Mallory circ pump at around $160 on ebay , quite a difference in price, is it worth it ?

ss shaft and anti corrosion impeller should do the trick...
