OK-- WATERFOULS gremlins have finally caught up with me ( but in reverse order )
First blew the head gaskets on the truck on the 4th of JULY. Now today I idled down the channel at Grand Haven- no problems - no strang noises - Went to get on plane and starboard engine starts popping back through the carb from one cylinder only. Havn't pulled it apart yet. It is a mechanical problem because I pulled the kill switch and it still puffs back through the carb but without the backfire. I just thought you guys would like to guess what the problem is- The winner gets nothing but I thought it would be fun to see who gets the problem right.

Was just talking to another boater yesterday and said how good the engines ran and that they havn't been apart in three years.

You just think that you are getting on top of your finances and something always comes up.

Hey I still went boating sunday just a lot slower. Thats only one of the reasons I have two engines. Only problem was we had company on the boat that wanted to go tubing and we couldn't with only one engine. Boy that isn't fun stearing the port engine without power stearing and no counter rotating starbord engine to offset the prop torque.
