The amazing views and angles you get today in televised NFL games were pioneered in the extremes sports world, more specifically the X-Games. And now with the GoPro revolution viewers are more "in the action" than ever before. Truly creative and innovative.

But I've watched a bunch of Phil Lewis video via Big Seas Productions, and in my limited opinion the guy was far ahead of his time when it came to capturing the look and feel of offshore racing. He didn't have the technology we have today, and yet his stuff is still amazing and truly creative and innovative.

All the best and hopes for a recovery to Mr. Lewis and his family and friends.
