Isn't yours a stepped hull? Why is there such a big speed difference between yours and that blue 37?

The stepped hulls are 13-15% more efficient. Straight bottom boats run great. They have a lot of boat in the water which creates drag though.

525EFI step bottoms have run as fast as 90mph, but that's if you invest $10K in props. Not everyone does that.

I thought that straight bottom originally posted sold already.

I'm just telling you the best speed I, personally, have seen. I think my boat was good for 2-3 mph more in salt water and trimmed to the moon. And, like Brian said, with the right props on...

RadioActive is a 2003 and a stepped AVH hull. I think RadioActive also has the taller deck which gives about 4" more cabin height.
RadioActive has the same deck as this boat. I think it was the last one of the older deck.

Thanks for the info, I wasn't trying to stir up any chit just wondered about the two boats. I always liked the at's.

I would send Pat at AT an email or PM and ask him about it. People have posted about this boat before and nobody seems to know much about it

http://www.kennedyautomarine.com/boats.html

I've dealt with the Dana in the past, & my buddy purchased a 42 Fountain from him a couple years ago.. decent guy to deal with, most of his inventory are/were repo's that he flips , I highly doubt that the AT was originally from the great lakes.. he has had that boat for a long time, call him... oh ya & he likes to exaggerate speed by 5-10 mph

I sea trailed an 38 AVS Scarab 500HP boat a few years back, he claimed it ran over 80.. my handheld GPS never made it past 73..lol

I sat in that boat at the dock near Grand Bend Ont last summer. Sitting in the cockpit it reeked of gasoline. We all noticed it

The hardware looked nice. And yes Dana Kennedy will tell you anything you want to hear. Bring your GPS
