Yea, flat water stinks, makes my boat feel slower than it already is. Then when it gets to rough my anchor gives me the look and after a few looks I have to slow down.

We had an incredible day/weekend in the Chesapeake in 2010 where there was no wind at all!

Not to mention extremely hard water!! I heard MI had hard water issues.

Ed not to hijack the thread but how fast have you gone with your ice boat, looks like a BLAST. se you on the water when it turns into a liquid state again!

I'm a novice at this, I've never sailed, built the boat two years ago and have hit low 60 mph gps. Better sailors hit mid 70 with good ice/wind conditions with this design.
