C'mon man . . . . its simple math :rolleyes: . . . . just insert the number 41 for the letter E (the Apache coefficient) :D

OSO style wave height quick chart - 1-2'= 4-5's. 2-4'= 6-8's 5+ anywhere from 10-25'. And so on. Now, here's a more accurate formula.


Actual wave height (2)+3-0/1 = OSO wave height

Pretty accurate formula, that's how all the weekend warriors figure it here on Lake MI.

I believe the formula has minor changes to the (constants) by geographical Regions!
