I`m not seeing that typical "temporary rooster" when the props hit the surface .. you sure them props are coming out of the water to require that throttling?

If you're throttling back when you see that "temporary rooster" aren't you a little late?

Very, very true..Right on the verge of breaking drives and some over revs at that point..People wonder why Im on and off the throttles so much when running hard in rough water....

Personally I think you`re too early and loading /unloading the drive train unnecessarily . I killed a drive like that once.
But I don`t want to take away from a great vid and folks having a great time.. well except grumpy the driver :D
Carry on.

IMO this man is doing a good job running his boat. You see that ''Roost" Icdedppl was talking about when the prop surfaces. Cool videos. I like hearing the engines sing myself!

Not grumpy, just camera shy lol, and trying to give my passengers a fun safe ride.

They did a great job with the filming and editing don't you think? I know they put a lot of time into it, so thanks guys for helping with the winter blues!

As for the throttling, it's hard to tell in the vid but those are Lake Michigan 8-12's :evilb:

Actually, it was more due to the tight and steep nature of the water that day. While we were skipping top to top the props were breaching pretty hard in the troughs, zinged it once too if I remember correctly so grateful for the soundtrack lol. Was a fun ride with good friends, that's what boating is all about.

Yeah it sure was a great ride! Not many 28' boats would have been able to keep up with us that day no matter what the power!

Glad you took us for a ride Eric and excited Kristy likes editing videos for us!
