What boat is this? Sonic? Balt, MD

EDIT: It is a Sonic (i'm not familiar with them)
For the last few years I always sneak in Chesapeake Yachting Center or as it used to be Full tilt marina. It's ran by Tony now. (Great guy) But when winter start's to suck I always take a drive through and see this boat every time. Don't know if it runs but would be something I'd like to get later down the road as a upgrade. I'll find out more but just didn't want to look like a creeper looking around the dry storage racks, but my Guess is a Sonic? 31/28? I'll snoop and get better pics tomorrow unless somebody knows the boat? "Summer dream" The cover has been off for a while now and Don't want to see the interior get ruined over the winter if it hasn't already. Also I like this because of the huge step on the sides. Anyone that has or had the IMP's knows they wish they had that!

The way you can walk around the side and the rail on the side of the cockpit are signatures of a Sonic.

A/T also did the walk around gunnels but never an intergraded plateform

Definitely a Sonic.

Just saying.... I don't see that design being that useful. I can reach my side cleats from inside the boat and can get on the bow a whole lot easier too.

Looks like an old 30SS

I didn't think it was useful till in owned one. It is very useful to get to the front area and when cleaning. It's a feature I really enjoy that I didn't think I cared about.

And while it's true you can get to your front very easy. I personally as well as maybe some others don't care for those half window looks. Those are just personal things though.

People that have gunwales, I envy. So nice to be able to walk around the boat. On my 32 its a **** show, trying to step on the seat, then the dash to get to the bow. It's easier to try and go through the hatch in the cabin.. hahaha

BTW Tony is a good dude. BS'd with him alot.

We absolutely love having the non skid walk around on our AT.

Looks like this might be it, but not currently USCG documented.

Yes great guy! I've known Him for a few years but just within the last year or so I've been using more of my time in the boat realm. Go through phases ya know. Cars, trucks, bikes and as I get older I want to be on the water more! And makes my dad happy I sold those damn bikes!

Yes I believe that's the right one Griff! Thanks for the heads up! I may be looking to upgrade to twins in a year or so maybe two and this would make a great project boat "it seems" to get into?? Also depends on finances as I'd rather have a AT. Granted everything checks out. And yes my IMP sucks for access to the front with the way our gunwales are setup. Gone through the hatch a few times as well. Thanks again for the link!
