I decided to take the Virginia online Boat Safety Course practice test, and this was question #1

Until medical help arrives, someone seriously injured should be:
a. Given alcohol to warm them up and numb the pain
b. Kept warm and moving
c. Kept warm, still and in a lying-down position
d. Both a. and b.

Take the test and see how you do, I got a 76. I was recommended to review the rules concerning PWC operation. I say we just outlaw them.

Got a 93, but Virginia Laws are different than NY. The caused some problem for me. But it said I am ready to take the real test! I will pass on that one since I have the NY certificate (got a 98 on that on). We also require all employees of our Marina to take and pass the NY test, and three have their Capt. Lic. for at least 100 tons.

I got 87%! Guess that power squadron class did help eh? :D
