Our First boat in 2002 was a '91 Powerquest 230 Conquest.
Really loved that boat. Like PQ enough to upgrade to a 340 Vyper. |
First boat was a 14' 1967 Mohawk with a 1981 50 hp Mercury, I was 14. We now have a 2004 Formula 31PC. I am a firefighter and am trying to figure a way to get the wife to let me go back to a go fast.

I am in my forties, My first boat was bought last year, it is a 1983ish fake Cigarette with a 502 and no mufflers of any kind. No three-footitis so far.

1974 Glastron 19' closed bow with a 350sbc and a Berkeley jet drive. I was 20 yo. That boat was ABSOLUTELY indestructible!!!
|
My first was a 8' waterlogged card table, one of those home made, plywood, flat bottom, round nose with a small cockpit you kneeled in. It would barely float. But it had a stick and a wheel with a 10hp Keikafer. It would go about 20 if I could get it running. I payed $50.00 for it when I was 14. Man, it was the chit.

1984 19' Mako center console Yamee 130

1969 13' Whaler with a 35hp Mercury outboard with a white control box and cable steering. Awesome, my back still hurts....

Bought brand new with my paper route money at 13 years old.
1979 Bayliner Mosquito 70hp Mercury |
1987 Bayliner Capri cuddy w/125 Force outboard, not pretty but it got the job done.
