Fabio Buzzi ebay find...
Looks like a rocket scientist wrote the add. Wtf? Does it have drives or not? Geez
From the pictures I can tell you what is not there, the strut that has the cutless bearing in it is missing and the bearing carrier that mounts to the transom is also missing (maybe in boat) and the shaft of course. The bearing carrier is where the tapered and keyed shaft fit into, it has double tapered bearing to hold and locate the end on the propshaft and a flange is on the end of that to which the drive shafts are bolted. The big housing off the transom are as they appear for the rudder mounting, the strut to attach to and also the exhaust to pass through.
The rudders are the Non-water p/u ones but have the built in pitot tube for speedometers. I guess Buzzi could/would sell you new transom bearing holders if they were not laying in the boat somewhere? You can always buy Arnesons and fix the tubes to the strut holders so they can't trim or swivel - why do that though? |
interesting boat for sure. Man i always just wonder how the heck a five year old boat gets in such rough shape . . . . what a shame
I dont understand it says "with drives" in the title then twice in the ad it says they arent complete.
too bad the wing is gone!!!!

Kitami, Buzzi, Super Hawaii, and Intrepid were all very intermingled at one point in the early 90's.
