To Wrap or not Wrap for resale

So heres my dilemma , I bought a little 21 Scarab Sc from another member on here just to fix up and resale . Went though the boat and made it a perfect little starter boat for someone wanting to get into performance boating . However the boat is solid white and has no color on it . Now if I was buying a boat this is how I would like it . Clean pallet ready for my choice of color and design but I'm wondering if this is hurting my chance of reselling it or if I should just design a kick a$s Wrap and do it . The Wrap is going to cost me 1000-1500 and I will not be able to ask any more then the 13K I am already asking for the boat . So what does everyone else think ? Need advice !

Put it up as is, my guess is a wrap would chase off as many buyers as it might attract, no matter how much *you* might like it.

If you can get it done for thousand to 1500 I would say you should absolutely do it. A nice updated design can really make the both look like it's worth a lot more money. However being in the rap business I'm not sure what you going to get the $1500. Good quality marine material cost more than then that, before the printing and the actual labor to install the wrap. I would definitely get in writing any guarantee of what the rep company is going to do for the 1500.

Make up a few designs and put pictures up in the ad. Offer to include wrap at full price sale..

I like it all white.

Can't go wrong with white .I think it would be foolish to wrap something that is in good shape. Problem with a wrap is the potential buyer has no idea what's under it ...My Opinion

A wrap is a matter of personal taste and all white is an open palette for the next owner to make the their own touches.... besides the boat looks very clean in white.

How about a scarab logo on the sides at the transom - identifies the boat and breaks up the mass of mono-tone

when I read title of post, I was gonna say "just paint it all white!"

Keep it white. If you offered $500 towards the wrap of choice, a potential buyer is just going to think you got $500 to move on the price. I do not like white, but i can see the graphics i like in my head. Think how many tribal Bajas or pink and green Formula owners wish that was a wrap on their boat.
